The Queensland mission shaped ministry course is taught by an experienced team of educators, ministers and leaders. Many sessions will also include stories from local practitioners – those exploring fresh expressions on the edge of (and beyond) the established church. The teaching team for 2017 includes:
Rev Beth Nichols is the Mission Project Officer for the South Moreton Presbytery of the Uniting Church. Beth has years of experience in encouraging mission particularly among young people and their families.
Rev Brian Hoole is the Presbytery Minister for the Bremer Brisbane Presbytery of the Uniting Church. Brian brings a passion for community engagement and developing leadership capacity.
Rev Monique Mawbey is the Discipleship Officer for the Bremer Brisbane Presbytery of the Uniting Church. Monique brings a range of experiences including youth ministry, chaplaincy and discipleship development.
Rev Rob McFarlane is Mission Education officer for the Moreton Rivers Presbytery. Rob brings a wealth of experience in missiology and supporting congregations right around the country.
Scott Guyatt is Director, Mission Strategy for the Uniting Church in Queensland. Scott’s experiences in faith communities on the edge of and beyond the church will enrich our learning experiences.
